Chaitra Jatra
The most important festival of the temple, Chaitra Jatra is a 21-day celebration during the Odia month of Chaitra (March-April). Lakhs of devotees perform tonsure (mundan) as an offering to the divine mothers. The festival includes special pujas, cultural programs, and a grand mela.
